My Month In Gaming: November

November has come and November has nearly gone. A month today it will be Christmas and shortly after that, it will be 2019. It’s still crazy to think just how quickly this year has gone. Albeit this month’s My Month In Gaming post is a little bit earlier than normal but lets jump straight in.

Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu

Where do I seriously start with this game? I have had so much fun playing Pokémon Lets Go Pikachu! The game its self is a huge throwback for me as Pokémon Yellow was the first Pokémon game I ever owned myself and that in its self-holds so many childhood memories. I want to say I’m around halfway into the game but I still have such a long way to go. I’ve also been playing with the Pokéball Plus which has been a great way to experience the game as well.

The Sims 4: Get Famous Expansion

This expansion has really pulled me back into The Sims 4. It’s given me so many ideas on how to play the game whether that is creating a new build or creating a new Sim who is aspiring to be the worlds greatest actor/actress who knows really. There really is a lot more to the expansion pack than what first meets the eye and I’m constantly discovering even more that comes with the pack.

Fallout 76

While Fallout 76 is a bit of a hit and miss, still contains a variety of bugs and is missing a lot of features many players want like NPC’s I have actually been enjoying this approach to the Fallout game franchise. I won’t say it’s one of the best games I’ve played this year but it definitely isn’t the worst I have played this year. I’m hoping that going into 2019/early 2019 there will be some more content for the game (even if it is just an update as to what to expect) as well improved performance for the game as a whole.

Overall though November has been a better month full of plenty of time to get stuck into a variety of games. My backlog is still steadily growing with Octopath Traveller and Spyro Reignited Trilogy now joining the collection. As for December, I’m really looking forward to playing Super Smash Bros Ultimate at some point as well as looking forward to the new game releases in the new year.
