With one year coming to an end and another just about to start, it got me thinking about some of the video games due to be released in the coming twelve months. Here are three games due for release in 2019 that I can’t wait to try out.
Anthem
Anthem first caught my attention at E3 this year. There was just something about it that made me stop and give it my full attention. When I first saw the trailer I thought it was somewhat inspired by a mixture of the movies Pacific Rim and Transformers amongst others and while it is clear it’s own thing. What I love about the game is how I’m going to be able to team up with my friends and help save humanity.
Kingdom Hearts 3
Although I still feel I’m fairly new (as well as late) to the franchise I’m really looking forward to the next instalment. My plan is to complete the existing Kingdom Hearts before jumping into Kingdom Hearts 3. Currently, I’m near to finishing the games included on Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 Remix and I’m hoping I can also do the same with Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue game. I am excited for the new instalment to the franchise but I’m also trying not to look too much into what’s coming in the game as I want it to be as much as a surprise as possible.
Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled
This is a childhood classic for me! I played a fair bit of the game when I was younger. It was mainly with my cousins or round friends houses but there were some good memories made. When I saw the reveal trailer for the first time I was filled with so much nostalgia and memories from playing the game before. I can’t wait to be able to play Crash Team Racing when it is released.
Of course, there are many games than just the ones mentioned above. I’m looking forward to the new Animal Crossing and Pokemon games on Nintendo Switch as well as Metro Exodus, Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and Days Gone to name a few more.
Why not let me know what some of the upcoming games you are looking forward to playing in 2019.
I’m also really excited for KH3!

I’m hoping I’ll be able to complete Kingdom Hearts 2.8 before Kingdom Hearts 3 is released. Hopefully, I’ll have some time to do so but it’s going to be a challenge.
