Today I want to introduce you to something new on the blog. The start of a new monthly series that will take a different game franchise and just talk about it. This new series is called Franchise Friday and the aim will be that it will be posted towards the second half of the month.
There isn’t a script for the posts as such but I’ve been working on a long list of prompts that I hope will inspire the direction that the post will go in. Ultimately though each post will be unique and different from the last.
Here’s a look at just a handful of the prompts I’ve come up with so far.
- Favourite/least favourite memory of <insert game here>
- A standout moment in the franchise
- First Impressions
- How I discovered the franchise
- The reason why I rage quit <insert game here>
- Favourite Character(s)
- Game soundtracks that stand out in a particular franchise.
With the series being a monthly occurrence I’ve already created a lengthy list of some of the franchises that I hope to include. Some of these are listed below.
- Pokemon
- Final Fantasy
- Bioshock
- The Sims
- Call of Duty
- Fallout
- The Legend of Zelda
And many more.
I’m excited to be able to share this new blog series with you. The first Franchise Friday will be published on Friday 25th January 2019!
