My Month In Gaming: May

I’ll be honest. May has been a pretty quiet kind of month. Every day has come and gone and there hasn’t been anything out of the ordinary happen. Although from the list below I’ve only really played three games I’ve spent a lot more time this month doing other odd jobs around my home, being with friends and family and just getting out and about. I’ve also taken the time to work on some behind the scenes bits that I’ve been meaning to do for a while amongst a few other little blog related tasks I wanted to do as well.

Overwatch

I haven’t logged into Overwatch for a little while but decided to do so for the game’s third-anniversary event. Despite getting locked out of my account initially I actually enjoyed playing Overwatch again. I do somewhat miss it and so much has changed and been added since I last played. I do think my computer is starting to struggle a little bit (it is about 6 years old now)so I may start playing more on PlayStation 4 going forward.

The Sims

I felt like I was starting to lose inspiration and motivation with my old save file so decided to completely start over with a brand new family and save file altogether. Needless to say, I started to feel inspired and have really started enjoying playing again. Its been nice to just jump into the game and do whatever I feel like whether that is carry on developing my Sims stories or just create a new build. I’ve actually just started playing through the StrangerVille mystery again and seeing if I discover anything I may have missed the first time around.

Final Fantasy XIV

Honestly, I haven’t really done too much in Final Fantasy XIv. I’ve done a few daily leveling quests and a couple of main storyline quests and that’s it. Nothing overly exciting. I did miss out on getting the Regalia mount from the Final Fantasy XV crossover event by a few levels but maybe one day in the future there will be a chance to get it again. As for now, I’m looking forward to Shadowbringers which is releasing very soon!

June is shaping up to be a pretty exciting month especially With EA Play, E3 and more right around the corner. I’m super excited to see what is in store and revealed for the gaming community over the next few weeks. It’s going to be a busy month either way but I will catch you in the next blog post!

  1. I’m glad you’re doing well! There’s some months where we just don’t game that much since we have so much going on, you know?

I just got the Strangerville DLC and made a new save file. It was so much fun!!! 😃 I love the atmosphere of it as well as the story.

I can’t wait for E3!!! Hoping they announce a lot of stuff the gaming community has been hoping for.
