Blaugust 2019 Round Up

Blaugust 2019 has come and gone and it’s time to look back at the past few weeks and reflect on the things that have been learned during that time.

This was the first time that I have ever really participated in a blogging challenge like this before and I wasn’t really too sure what to expect. I’ll be honest, I did feel a little bit nervous at the start but as the challenge progressed I felt a bit more relaxed.

While I really wanted to attempt to blog every day, I knew that would not be possible for me to do so due to work commitments and life in general, so I set myself a goal of posting one post a week relating to that week’s theme. I’m proud of what I published too especially because some of the themes were not things I would normally write about and I felt this really helped me think about other themes/topics I can write about in the future.

During Blaugust I manged to read numerous amazing blog posts from other Blaugust participants and it really helped me realize that there are so many talented bloggers and writers in this community. It also made me realize that there is so much more out there that I can write about and even how to approach a variety of different topics. I also have a few games that I’m wanting to take a look at including World of Warcraft Classic and Planet Zoo at somepoint that I’ve picked up from readinga few blog posts.

Overall though, I had lots fun taking part in this years Blaugust and while I only got a handful of posts out I still feel that I have achieved so much. My aim is to take part in next year’s Blaugust and challenge myself a little bit more during that time but for now I’m looking forward to working on a few of the drafts I have saved for the coming weeks!
