Let’s Rewind: February

February has been a rather interesting month for a number of reasons. Firstly I moved from LeeksEverywhere over to LeeksPlays across the blog and my social media profiles. It was somewhat a spur of the moment decision but it felt right at the same time. There have been some personal challenges throughout the month as well but with changing up my blog schedule at the start of the year, it has helped in more ways than one.

I’ve also started doing a few streams on Twitch and uploading some The Sims 4 related content to my YouTube as well. It’s been things I’ve wanted to do for some time now but never felt ready to do so. I basically decided to stop being worried about jumping into both and just go with it and see what happens. I’m still not sure where it will take me and I still have some things to figure out but it’s exciting at the same time.

Here are some of the games I’ve been playing through over the last month!

Final Fantasy XIV

I finally returned to Final Fantasy XIV again. I go through phases where I love playing the game and then I just stop playing altogether. This time I decided to start a new class as a Red Mage and also work on levelling up some of the different crafts too. I’m slowly making my way through the Main Story Quests but I’m just enjoying taking my time and working on a few different classes along the way.

Animal Crossing

With Animal Crossing New Horizons just under a month away, I decided to pay a visit to my camp on Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and bring it up to date a little bit. I’ve mainly been working on collecting different items and working on my friendship levels with different NPC’s. It’s just enough to keep me going until Animal Crossing New Horizons is released.

Also, I need to take a moment just to say how awesome that Animal Crossing Direct was the other day!

Death Stranding

I’ve been making some more progress with Death Stranding at long last. I spent a fair bit of time wandering around and completing some odd orders before making my way over to Episode 3. I’m probably a couple of main story orders into the new Episode but I am still really enjoying the game.

Skyrim

I picked up Skyrim for the PlayStation 4 the other day. I didn’t really need another copy of Skyrim but it gave me a reason to start a new game from scratch again, Admittedly I did pick it up for less than ten pounds but I’m actually looking forward to getting stuck into the game once again.

March is going to be a fairly busy month both personally and in the world of gaming so there is plenty to look forward to. I’m very excited to play Animal Crossing New Horizons as well as the upcoming Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX for Nintendo Switch. EGX Rezzed is also towards the end of March and even though I am unable to go this year, I’m looking forward to seeing what everyone gets up to at the event.
