Let’s Rewind: September

I honestly can’t believe that this time last year I rebranded my monthly recap blog post to Let’s Rewind. It really does feel like it has been a lot longer. I’ve always had great fun writing these posts as it’s nice to reflect on the month that has passed. It’s crazy to think about everything that has happened over these past twelve months both in the world of video games and in real life too.

Anyway, without further ado, here is September’s recap!

Tell Me Why

I’ve been playing through Tell Me Why recently as well as working on a little side project which I’m hoping will be released soon. As for the game itself, I highly recommend taking a look at it. The story is incredible and I can’t wait to go back and play it again. If you enjoyed Life is Strange, you’ll love Tell Me Why.

The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey to Batuu

I’ll be totally honest, I wasn’t sure about this Game Pack when it was revealed. I like Star Wars but wasn’t sure if a pack dedicated to the franchise would work with The Sims 4. Even after playing it I still feel very undecided however, I don’t hate it but I also don’t love it. It will be a pack that is in my game and I’ll find a way to use aspects of it but I’m not sure to what extent I would replay the story side of the game pack. Who knows, I may do in the future but not at the moment.

Final Fantasy XIV

I’ve not played as much of Final Fantasy XIV this past month due to other commitments but I’ve been making some slow progress on a couple of my crafting classes. I’ve also been taking more screenshots of my adventures in-game again which really is no surprise to anyone now. I was working on trying to collect some of the special items from the Yokai event but I’ve somewhat given up for now. I am planning on trying to obtain another couple of weapons before the event is over though.

I’m not too sure how October is going to shape up for me but I’m looking forward to whatever may happen. There are a couple of games I’m hoping to take a look at from Boomerang Games which are Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time and Watch Dogs Legion although I will be holding off buying any new games until the Xbox Series X is released in just over a month.

What are you looking forward to playing in October? Let me know in the comments!
