Let’s Rewind: March

I can’t really say I’ve been up too much gaming wise during March. In fact, I’ve probably spent more time writing and doing other things that I’ve pretty much stuck to just two games this month. Part of that is because I still can’t really play much else due to my injury, although there is light at the end of the tunnel for that now. It’s been nice to step back a little and do a few different things, but I can’t wait to get back to working through my backlog again soon!

However, here’s what I’ve been playing this month!

Animal Crossing New Horizons

I’ll be honest, even though I’ve played a fair bit of Animal Crossing New Horizons this past month, I don’t really know what I’ve done at the same time. I’ve made progress with tidying up both of my Islands but at the same time I made a mess while I was sorting out my items and finding homes for the new Super Mario items. Of course, I didn’t forget about Animal Crossing New Horizon’s first birthday. I made sure I went and hung out with my villagers, gifted them some presents and had fun. It’s crazy how it’s been a year since the game first released too!

The Sims 4

It’s been a bit of a weird month when it comes to The Sims 4 with the surprise release of the new style Kits. I’m still unsure about the Kits myself, but I’m optimistic about future themes for them. Apart from checking out the new Kits, I’ve been having fun building and playing a new Sim family who is currently working at becoming an actress. It’s slow progress but it’s a start. I’ve been sharing what’s been happening in my game over on Tumblr too!

As for April, I’m looking forward to slowly easing my way back into my backlog. It’s been slowly growing, and I’ve made zero progress so far. I’m also excited to check out the New Pokémon Snap game at the end of the month as well as continuing with Littlewood on Nintendo Switch.

Let me know what games you’ve been playing this month!
