Let’s Rewind: June

Honestly, the days are going so fast at the moment that I didn’t realize June was nearly over! I can’t really say that I’ve done a lot of gaming this month as I’ve been working on other projects, watching the various E3 presentations and working.

The Sims 4

This is the main game that I’ve been playing lately, as well as exploring the new Dream Home Decorator Game Pack. I’ve explored the new career a bit, but I’ve spent more time renovating my own home with the new objects instead. The Sims 4 Cottage Living is coming out in July, and I’m very excited for that, so I’m currently preparing my Sims to move to the new world. In the meantime, I’ll be hanging out at The Sims Sessions event that is currently happening in game.

I rented this towards the end of last month and played the game for about twelve hours before I decided to stop. While I enjoyed what I played, and graphically it looked brilliant, I just couldn’t get into it. I’m not sure what it was, that was stopping me, but there was something. I do want to give the game another go at some point, so I’ve added it back to my rental list to give it another go in the future.

Mario Golf Super Rush

This is my latest game pick up. I haven’t really played a lot of the game yet, as I’ve mainly been focusing on working through the tutorial in Golf Adventure before exploring the other game modes, but so far it’s been pretty good. I’m looking forward to spending some more time exploring the Golf Adventure and working my way through the levels, as well as playing some Speed Golf and the battle mode too.

As for the month ahead, it’s going to be pretty busy, but I’m also very excited at the same time. I’m going to be taking a look at Scarlett Nexus on PlayStation 4 which is one game I’m currently renting. I’m also going to be testing out my new Elgato Capture Card, so there may be one or two random streams popping up while I figure things out. I’d love to give streaming a proper go again at some point, since it’s been about a year since I last tried, but I have no idea where to start or what game I would like to stream in all honesty. I’m sure I could find something though.

What are you looking forward to in July?

    1. I’m still unsure if I’m going to get Skyward Sword HD at the moment, but I do want to check it out as I’ve got lots of memories from playing the original. I’ve also downloaded the Monster Hunter Stories 2 demo. I loved the original Monster Hunter Stories, so I’m looking forward to checking this out.
