I’ve tried to write this post several times since I completed Life is Strange True Colors and every time I go to write it, I can’t find the right words or end up adding spoilers, which is not what I want to do. This will probably be a short but sweet post, but I wanted to share some thoughts that I have. I am planning on writing a review of the game however, I want to replay the game first and chose the opposite options from what I did during this first play through.
Firstly, wow! That was a real rollercoaster experience that I was not fully prepared for at all. From the trailers I had an idea of what to expect, but there were a number of times when I was left thinking “what the hell just happened?” There were moments where the game actually made me cry (more than once, I won’t lie) and feel goodness knows how many emotions in the space of a few seconds.
I enjoyed everything about my first play through of the game. The storyline, how it made me feel as a player, the options I chose even if I regretted them after, the characters, Haven Springs, every inch of the game for me was perfect. In regard to the characters, I really felt that you connect with them and relate to how they were feeling and even what they were dealing with to some extent.
I didn’t have many issues with the game. I had one moment where the game was slightly out of sync momentarily, but a quick restart of my PlayStation 4 seemed to fix that. The only other time was when my game encountered an error and I had about ten minutes of game play to replay, but I didn’t mind as it was quite an enjoyable part of the game, so I didn’t mind too much.
I’m actually looking forward to playing through Life is Strange True Colors again, as well as Steph’s Story in the Wavelengths DLC that’s coming in a couple of weeks or so. I would love to see a photo mode added as Haven Springs is actually gorgeous, and I’ve now filled up my remaining storage on my PlayStation 4 with plenty of screenshots!
Have you played Life is Strange True Colors yet?
I’m really looking forward to grabbing this one when I get the chance. How did you find ti compared to LiS1, LiS:BTS, and Tell Me Why?

Honestly, I loved it. I thoroughly enjoyed this LiS, like I did with LiS1 and LiS:BTS (not played LiS2 yet). Tell Me Why, I have a bit of a love hate relationship with if I’m honest, but that’s a different story all together. It was nice to be able to play the game straight through, rather than waiting for each episode to be released, but I wouldn’t have minded having to wait.
