Gift Guide: Christmas Edition

Today’s blog post is a little bit different and also something that I have never done before on the blog. With Christmas fast approaching I’ve found myself searching for a variety of geeky and video game related presents for various people. I wanted to share some of the places where I’ve found a few awesome little geeky/video game related items that could make that perfect gift or even just help find a little something to put into a stocking.

  • Zavvi – Zavvi has been a site I’ve been using more and more over the last few months. They always have a variety of deals and offers on at any one time and you can even pick up some amazing deals of games, DVDs and more. Gift ideas: Pop! Vinyl, Blu-rays/DVDs, Steelbooks and clothing.
  • GAME UK – Whether it is a visit into a GAME store or even shopping online, GAME is one place I always pick up a few odds and ends from for stocking fillers, physical games and even just picking up gift cards as presents.
Gift ideas: The latest game releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, Console/game specific gift cards and vouchers for GAME and accessories.
  • Power Up Pins – Need a little something to add into a present or as a stocking filler or even an awesome little Secret Santa present? Power Up Pins is the place to look. They have an amazing selection enamel pin badges to offer on their Etsy store! They’ve also recently dropped a whole new host of enamel pin badges so don’t miss out!

Gift ideas: Star Wars inspired enamel pins, cute dinosaur enamel pin and console inspired enamel pins.

  • Geek Store – What doesn’t Geek Store sell? Seriously they have such a huge variety of products that it’s hard to know where to start looking. They also have some very unique items on offer as well which includes the PacMan 1/4  Arcade Machine. Not only that they are also a brilliant place to find the perfect geeky Christmas jumper!

Gift ideas: Christmas Jumpers, Fallout inspired gifts and Spyro the Dragon inspired gifts. Not only that there is a wide selection of homeware items which could make the perfect gift including candles, kitchenware, Christmas decorations or even a nice cosy new hoodie? In fact, there is so much to choose from on Geek Store’s website that there is definitely something for everyone.

A few other great places to get geeky/video game related products from are Amazon, Firebox, Etsy, Rooster Teeth (UK Store), Forbidden Planet, Merchandise Monkey, Grindstore and even independent gaming stores if you have any local to you. in fact there are many places both online and on the high street where you could find the perfect geeky/video games inspired gift.

I hope you’ve enjoyed this Christmas gift guide post. It’s something a little different but I had a lot of fun writing this post while I was also searching for gifts for my own family and friends and who knows one of these sites may just have that perfect gift that you need for a friend or family member of your own.

    1. I know right! I see so many things that I could get for myself or my partner but then had to remind myself that I was Christmas shopping and that was the priority. The pins are amazing and definitely worth checking out.
